Key Responsibilities: 

  • Architect and implement REST APIs.
  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
  • Lead integration of GenAI-powered capabilities into backend systems, including prompt-based APIs and tool-using agents. • Test software to ensure responsiveness, correctness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
  • Take initiatives to build better and faster solutions to the problems of scale.
  • Troubleshoot application-related issues and work with the infrastructure team to triage Major Incidents.
  • Experience in analyzing/researching solutions and developing/implementing recommendations accordingly.


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of four years of professional experience
  • Expertise in JavaScript (ES6) and Node JS is a must
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • In-depth knowledge of frameworks like Express JS and Restify
  • Experience in building backend services for handling data at large scale is a must
  • Ability to architect high-availability applications and servers on cloud adhering to best practices; microservices architecture is preferable
  • Experience working with MySQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and MongoDB
  • Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or equivalent GenAI agentic frameworks is a strong plus
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries
  • In-depth knowledge of Node JS concepts like the event loop
  • Ability to perform technical deep-dives into code
  • Experience building and deploying GenAI-powered backend services or tools such as prompt routers, embedding search, and RAG pipelines
  • Understanding of communication using WebSockets
  • Good understanding of clean architecture and SOLID principles
  • Basic knowledge of AWS and Docker containerization is preferable
  • Experience in Python is a plus
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, assist in code reviews, and support efficient coding practices is a plus
  • Familiarity with Git
