About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive, field-oriented, and results-driven Senior Associate – Programs to support the implementation of school education and digital learning initiatives across assigned districts of Jharkhand. The role will focus on managing day-to-day field operations, coordinating with government officials and schools, supporting technology adoption, monitoring program performance, and ensuring timely completion of implementation activities and agreed KPIs.
The Senior Associate will act as a key point of contact between schools, district stakeholders, field teams, and internal program teams to ensure effective implementation and achievement of program outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Implementation & Field Operations
- Execute district- and school-level program activities as per approved implementation plans
- Support school onboarding, technology deployment, training, and digital learning adoption
- Prepare weekly and monthly activity plans, school visit schedules, and progress trackers
- Conduct regular school visits to monitor implementation quality and resolve operational challenges
- Ensure timely achievement of assigned program milestones, deliverables, and KPIs
2. Stakeholder Management & Coordination
- Coordinate with district education officials, block education officers, school principals, teachers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain strong working relationships with government departments, schools, and implementation partners
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, school orientations, training sessions, and field reviews
- Coordinate with internal product, technology, content, data, training, and operations teams
3. Monitoring, Reporting & Data Management
- Track school onboarding, student participation, teacher engagement, platform usage, and program adoption
- Maintain accurate school-level and district-level implementation data
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, presentations, and stakeholder updates
- Identify implementation gaps through field observations and data analysis
- Support corrective actions to improve program performance and outcomes
4. Technology Adoption & Issue Resolution
- Support schools in adopting digital learning platforms and technology-enabled interventions
- Coordinate resolution of hardware, software, internet connectivity, login, and data-related issues
- Provide basic troubleshooting support and escalate technical issues to relevant teams
- Monitor the utilisation of deployed technology and digital learning resources
- Collect structured feedback from teachers, students, and school administrators
5. Field Team Coordination & Quality Assurance
- Coordinate with field associates, trainers, and implementation partners wherever applicable
- Support field team planning, activity tracking, and performance monitoring
- Ensure adherence to implementation guidelines, reporting standards, and organisational processes
- Identify operational risks and escalate critical issues proactively
- Document field observations, best practices, success stories, and case studies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Management, Social Work, Rural Development, Public Policy, Technology, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience in field operations, program implementation, education, EdTech, government projects, or the development sector at District / State Level.
- Experience coordinating with government officials, schools, teachers, and field-level stakeholders
- Strong understanding of program implementation, field monitoring, reporting, and issue resolution
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and digital reporting tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned districts
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results within defined timelines
Must-have skills:
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to coordinate effectively with government officials, school administrators, teachers, and partners
- Project & Program Management: Strong execution, planning, monitoring, and follow-up capabilities
- Advanced MS Excel & Reporting: Ability to maintain trackers, analyse data, and prepare meaningful reports
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to identify field challenges and implement practical solutions
- Impact & Results Orientation: Focus on achieving program KPIs, school adoption, and measurable outcomes
- Ownership & Accountability: Ability to independently manage assigned districts and deliverables
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Adaptability & Field Readiness: Ability to work in diverse district and school environments
Preferred skills:
- Experience implementing school education, EdTech, ICT lab, personalised learning, or digital learning programs
- Familiarity with Jharkhand's school education ecosystem and district-level government structures
- Experience working with government schools, district education departments, or education-focused NGOs
- Experience in CSR-funded, donor-funded, or government-supported education programs
- Knowledge of regional languages and local contexts in Jharkhand
- Experience using dashboards, data collection applications, and AI-enabled productivity tools
